Nuclia Waste, the triple nippled drag queen of comedy, has been delighting audiences in Colorado, the United States, Canada and Mexico with her wacky stand-up comedy wit and rule breaking fashion sense. From comedy shows to charity fund-raisers, the Princess of Plutonium radiates her joy and belief that you should never take life too seriously. She is the most original entertainer to ever emerge from the uranium contaminated swamps of Rocky Flats, Colorado. Having three breasts has not hurt her career, either. Oh, the joys and benefits of nuclear radiation!
Nuclia emcees and stars in the highly acclaimed and hilarious comedy camp drag show, "Demented Divas!" playing every Tuesday night at Lannie's Clocktower Cabaret in downtown Denver.
Nuclia was featured in the April Issue of Forbes Magazine in 2005, making her the first drag queen to ever appear in the financial magazine. The article generated more mail and emails than any other article published in the history of the magazine.
Newsweek magazine quoted Nuclia in August of 2005 when her famous Vespa scooter was stolen. The quote appeared on their Perspectives page and read:
"Never ever steal from a drag queen. She will hunt you down and make you pay, and she'll look fabulous the whole time she's doing it."
Denver drag queen Nuclia Waste, who called police after stopping two teens for allegedly stealing her Vespa scooter—painted "glowing green" with hot-pink flames—from her garage.

Nuclia performed at the Michigan Gay and Lesbian ComedyFest in Detroit in April of 2004. She appeared alongside HBO and Comedy Central comedians Susan Jeremy, Paul J. Williams, Andre Kelley and Marilyn Pittman. To see some pics from the night, click here.
RSVP Vacations hired Nuclia Waste to entertain as their official "hostess" for their Mardi Gras and Caribbean cruises aboard Holland America's ships in 2003 and 2004.
Nuclia has raised thousands of dollars for charities since she donned her big green wig in 1999. From Tupperware parties to the Mile Hi Hair Ball held each October, this "cherub of Chernobyl" gives from her plutonium heart in so many ways. Beneficiaries have included Project Angel Heart, the Mi Casa Resource Center for Women, The Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation and the Colorado AIDS Project.
An accomplished stilt-walker, Nuclia has appeared in parades in Provincetown, MA, Jackson, MS, as well as her home town of Denver. She won "Best of Show" at the Bourbon Street Awards at Mardi Gras in New Orleans in 2003 with a stilt costume of her own design. She's the tallest drag queen east or west of the Mississippi coming in at over 10 feet tall, not counting her big green hair.
Author and humorist Jill Conner Browne of the Sweet Potato Queens penned four pages about Nuclia Waste in her book, "The Sweet Potato Queens Big Ass Cookbook (And Financial Planner). In this New York Times Best-Seller, Jill proffers Nuclia's recipe for "Biscuits with Chocolate Gravy" and reveals "Nuclia's Secret Weapon Hairspray". Nuclia prays this information does not get into the hands of terrorists or it's bad hair days for everyone.
The Coors Brewing Company hired Nuclia to be a model in their newest GLBT national advertising campaign for the summer of 2003. For a peek of the ad, click here!
Nuclia recently pulled her chair up to the gossip buffet and now writes a regular society column in Denver's newspaper, Out Front Colorado. Her "City Seen" column is a must read to find out all the hip happenings in Colorado.
Nuclia has completed her one-woman show, "Nuclia Waste: From Princess of Plutonium to Radioactive Diva." This show of stand-up comedy and song is available for bookings.
Nuclia's motto in life is "It's never too late to have a happy childhood." With this in mind, she glows forth into the world putting laughs and smiles onto the faces of everyone she meets. From her comedy performances on stage to her amazingly creative costumes, she encompasses all the fun and joy of her inner child. If she makes one person laugh each day, she has done her job.
Straddling an atomic warhead of joy, Nuclia Waste finds herself speeding into the future. There is no telling where she will be exploding next.
