Mae Knot Couture Show and Auction, hosted by Ruins, May 16, 2003

NuClia Waste was one of twelve Denver celebrities invited to design and dress a Mae Knot doll. Others included Ann Spencer, Chamblee Lee Love, Eric Blamey, Kurt Schultz, Lannie Garrett, Marc Roth, Michael Boggs, Nina Montaldo, Russell Etmer and Tony Torres.

The creativity in the dolls was amazing! Mae Knot was created by illustrator Steven Roberts and the doll created by Pam Grey. NuClia's doll was called "Bring On The Carbs!" and is the one with the banana split. Her doll fetched $300. The evening was a benefit for Project Angel Heart.
